Description: Located just northwest of Manglet Island, the "Akitsushima Wreck" was the only warship sunk in Coron Bay. She is a 118m long Japanese sea plane tender lying on her port side. She was bombed near the stern and sank immediately. The ship is almost split in two just in front of the engine room. The crane used for lifting the seaplane out of the water is intact. Experienced divers will be rewarded by an impressive penetration to the engine room, where all four engines are intact. Further to the stern, you can find the gears and machinery for operating the crane.

Marine life includes school of shrimpfishes, groupers, snappers, batfishes and much more...
