Description: Located to the east of Surin islands, "Richelieu Rock" is an isolated pinnacle forming a horseshoe figure. The south side is a bay with a slope that gently falls to the deep, while the rest comprises sheer walls, groups of rocks and numerous small caves. Most of the pinnacle is covered with colorful soft corals accompanied by huge sea fans, hard corals and sea anemones.
Marine life includes massive school of snappers, fusiliers and barracudas, whale sharks, manta rays, sea horses, ornate ghostpipefishes, harlequin shrimps, octopuses, ribbon eels, nudibranchs and soooooooooo much more... |
